Short Story (1,600 words)

Miss Duncall works for Mr Eardy as his secretary in a small unsuccessful business in the City, and is in love with him though apparently unrequited. Mr Eardy has a weakness for gambling on horses and the football pools. Miss Duncall shadows his pools bets. One of them is going to win, but which one?
